Julia opened her eyes slowly and stretched, languidly, sinuously, luxuriating in the sensation of satin sheets on her naked body. The bedroom floor was littered with frantically discarded clothes, the bathroom door was ajar and she heard the shower running.

Closing her eyes again she tried to recall the events of the previous evening. She had attended a Gala charity event at the Dorchester, an organisation of which she was a Patron. She was to give a keynote speech in an attempt to secure donations and pledges.

She arrived at the Hotel in a limousine and emerged from the car to a chorus of cheers from fans and well-wishers and the strobe like effect from dozens of flashbulbs. She looked stunning in a long, red, strapless evening dress by Vera Wang, her glossy hair pinned up in a chignon, she looked every inch the movie star she was.

The function room was packed, the tables sparkling and every seat taken. Her speech was well received and both her Agent and Manager greeted her and congratulated her as she stepped down from the stage. She hardly heard them as her eyes roamed the room, searching, until she spotted him.

He was standing at the bar. She hurriedly picked her way through the tables, ignoring the people reaching out to her. She approached him. "You came," she said simply, with that smile which has broken a thousand hearts. He held out a glass of champagne to her. "Of course," he replied, returning her smile and clinking her glass. "Thank you for the invite, I didn't think I'd see you again".

They stood gazing into each others eyes, each a little nervously. "Are his eyes brown or dark green," she thought to herself. He looked so handsome in his Tux, slim in build, yet, she imagined, with a strong body under his clothes. Her extremities tingled at the thought.

Suddenly, the thought was banished as he took her glass, took her hand and led her to the dancefloor. They glided around the room, smoothly, elegantly until the music changed, slowed and she melted into his arms. His hand was warm as he held her hand, tenderly, fingers laced together, his cheek, soft against hers and she caught a trace of his after shave. His other hand was on her back, fingers gently tracing little patterns on her skin. She desperately wanted to kiss him, feel his mouth on hers in a crushing kiss, taste him. Her legs began to feel weak as her desire grew and that familiar sensation began to flow through her. She felt his hardness against her and knew it was time.

Suddenly, she stepped away from him and, still holding his hand,  pulled him from the dancefloor, through the Hotel, out into the street like Cinderella rushing from the ball. Luckily, her car was waiting nearby and they tumbled into it. They held each other, kissing like two excited teenagers on a first date, passionate, tongues entwined.

They reached her apartment and the car sped away into the night. In her haste, she  punched in her access code into the keypad, once, twice, until it buzzed and the door opened and they almost fell inside. The bedroom door was ajar, she grabbed the lapels of his jacket and pulled him inside, kicking the door closed behind them. They clung together in a fierce embrace until she pushed him up against the wall, pinning him to it, raining kisses on his face.

She tore off his jacket, then ripped open his shirt, running her hands over his chest. He pulled his hands free, clasped her to him and found the zipper on her dress which slid to the floor with a sigh around her feet.

They created a trail of discarded clothes until, naked, they collapsed on the bed, a tangle of arms and legs. His lips scorched across her skin, her nails gouging welts across his back as they became one. Their bodies moved together, writhing as their passion rose, until.......

"Miss Roberts, we are ready for you on set. Miss Roberts!"

She opened her eyes to the familiar inside of her Trailer, the urgent banging on her door......

  3. Creative work like this and Toms Subsume, helps to broaden the nature of the written word that the group creates. It is saying that yes, we can swear, we can talk about sex, extreme violence or passions. I am loving the confidence that is growing in all of us.
